Welcome!!
A little about the programme
In October 2022 I decided to kick everybody out of the doldrums and put together a programme of 'small project collections' which could be made before Christmas - the idea being to brighten what can be a stressy time AND update the seasonal decor a bit. This became the 'Nobler October' programme.
My customers seemed to enjoy that, so as the dark days of the end of Winter are another time when everybody is looking longingly forward, I decided to create a 'Spring' incarnation of this idea. The patterns are a surprise every week so obviously I can't preview them in advance. What I CAN tell you is that all the projects will be 'small', 'Spring' themed, and designed to be achieveable before Spring really kicks off so we can all have something fresh and new to enliven the new season. Hopefully this will also have the effect of cheering us up in the 'grey months'. There wil be a selection of different things coming this way.
All projects are designed to use either the colours and fabrics I've chosen, or for you to pull things from your stash and give it a little diet. Either way it's an excuse to go out and get more - either you NEED it for a new project or your stash needs feeding.
The programme will last throughout February 2023 although obviously you can work on these at any time of year. Every Wednesday that month I will release a new pattern. There will be a bonus pattern which is included for subscribers to the whole programme only, which I'll release in early March. Individual patterns are priceed at my normal standalone pattern price, but subscribers can get all four (plus bonus) for $25. What a bargain!
If you want to subscribe to the WHOLE programme please use this button. In February 2023 not all the patterns will be available to you as they are released once a week. I will see your subscription arrive and will add you to the mailing list for subsequent releases - which will be sent to you automatically by me. DO NOT think you have to press this button every time a new release comes out! (Unless you want to buy another subscription for a friend, that is - in which case thank you very much ;-) )
Similarly, don't press this button AND the individual pattern ones. Your download(s) of all live patterns will be available on your receipt for the full subscription. You don't need to buy things twice (unless you want to!)

'Pots of Joy' Collection
Towards the end of the long, grey days of Winter, it's always a joyful moment when I look at my plant pots and see the first brave little blooms making their way into the world. This is what inspired this collection - a smile in colour to cheer us up with the promise of warmer days to come.
'Perfect Pansies' Collection
I absolutely love pansies at any time of year, but especially in Spring when their happy little faces seem to smile up at me, enjoying the sunshine.
'Clematis Cascade' Collection
What screams 'Spring!' more than an explosion of clematis montana clambering over fences, hedges and trellises? Although people always think of the later flowering, larger-blossomed, clematis first, I think the profusion the montanas usually treat us to is one of the glories of springtime and this collection celebrates their bountiful, colourful, gift to us at this time.

'Wonderful Wisteria' Collection
I can't resist wisteria, and every house I have ever owned has always had some planted by me tout suite following our move in. To see it scrambling up the walls and the joy when I spot the very first buds is treasured and special pleasure - the plants tend not to flower for a few years after planting, so my patience is usually sorely tried by this point!
When I lived in France, in springtime I used to go often to a café quite close to the basilica in Vezelay, just because it had an aged wisteria in the tea garden. This had been trained to form a sunshading canopy over the area, which was more like something from a fairy tale as a result - generally fitting in with the atmosphere in Vezelay as a whole, it must be said. When in bloom, its perfume filled the building and much of the street outside for a considerable distance from the café and it was pure bliss for once to clamber up the (very steep) hill towards the beautiful scent, being led by my nose and - I am reliably informed - a look of utter bliss on my face.
So I really couldn't leave my wisteria out of a programme about Spring, although it is the harbinger of summer as it pops its joy out to us all right at the end of Springtime!
