Welcome!!

A little about the design

The inspiration for this one came from I'm finding I can't get 'autumn' off my
mind just now, so 'Mountain Maple' sort of popped out of the crannies of what
passes for my brain these days. I do so love the swathes of colour which autumn
brings and maples are the stars in this particular display most of the time, so I
have given them their rightful place.

I will specify the range of fabrics I have used to design this quilt top in the first instalment, but you don't necessarily have to use them. You can diet your stash!

BUT... please, if you don't want to be disappointed, pay close attention to the depth and tone of the fabrics I have used. A lot of  the impact of the design comes from this, and it will help you get a good result if you try to stay on the page as regards your substitutions.
